In light of Mental Health Awareness Month, Cordcalling will be part of a unique opportunity for members of the community who either have lived experience with or are touched by mental health challenges. City Art Centre presents Framing the Phoenix, an art show displaying visual representations by those who are aware of the journey of suffering that psychological issues takes one on. Local artist Brian Conway, of the art rock duo Cordcalling, will be displaying two of his original paintings at the show: "New Zealand Wilderness" and "New Zealand Impression," which are both interpretations of landscape photographs taken by a personal acquaintance from the London area.

Brief Description: Everyone is welcome to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month by enjoying artwork created by local artists who have lived experience with or who are touched by mental health challenges.

Dates/Times: The opening reception will be on May 6th from 1:00 - 5:00 PM. The show will run from May 6th until May 20th.
