Creative Ponderings - Poetry

Cordcalling

I don't want to be any less

or any more

than He wants me to be.

No less, No more.

I don't want to be the person who I want to be

Dying slowly, living well.

Lying low, standing high

I can see the creator who made me

for I can see written in the sky,

"'How much happier that [one] is who believes'

the whole world to be his/her native town than one

who cannot see beyond his/her own reflection".

*Quotation adapted from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein
